Axel has been a member of the Toronto Chapter of APICS for over 25 years and served on the BOD for the last 10. On the BOD he served as the Director for Events and as VP for Communications and Membership. In 2005 he joined Region VIII as the staff assistant responsible for the Communications Portfolio. Axel is also a member of the Peel chapter of PMI and IIE. 

Axel got his engineering degree at the University of Toronto and has worked in various industries including automotive, electrical, telecommunications and pharmaceutical industries.  He has been involved with 3 large ERP implementations to most recent of which was SAP 4.6 at his current employer.
